SATURDAY MEMBERSHIP INFOThe purpose of the WMC Saturday program is to promote and continue the work of the Wednesday Mothers’ Club by adding additional meeting hours on Saturdays to accommodate the mothers of young children in our community who cannot participate on Wednesday mornings.
WMC Saturday Moms meet on Saturday mornings (about once a month) from 9:30-11:30 in the gym of the United Methodist Church, with access to play space in the gym, one classroom, and the adjacent kitchen. Our goal is to have between 10-12 meetings per year based on the availability of the space. WMC Saturday Moms have the same service obligations to club events such as Liz’s Day, the Harvest Fairs, holiday food and toy drives, as general members of WMC. WMC Saturday Moms are also invited to participate in WMC social events. Annual dues for the Saturday club is $100. |

TESTIMONIALS
"As a full-time working mom of three girls, I am happy to be able to share the Saturday Club with my youngest. She loves to play with the other children, and I look forward to connecting with other moms here in town who share (and very often laugh about!) similar stories of daycare, commuting, and work/family-related trials and tribulations. Aside from the social aspect, the community service goals appeal to me personally, as my family received Wednesday night dinners from WMC members 7 years ago, while my oldest daughter underwent hemodialysis treatments three times per week for close to a year. Friends who were members at the time thought to include us in the generosity of WMC outreach. To be able to return the favor elsewhere through the various service projects undertaken by this organization is invaluable."

"As a new resident of FP and new to motherhood, I heard there was a Wednesday Mothers' Club and was asked to join--but unfortunately, wasn't able to because I work full time. I heard they were starting a Saturday Club that meets once a month and signed up right away. I didn't know anything about WMC except it was for mothers, and thought I would try it out but soon learned it was one of the best decisions I made. It was a great opportunity to meet women, make friends, network, and make a difference. I was so impressed with all the fun activities and community work that they do. Everyone works hard together for a positive purpose. I am happy to be part of such an amazing group of women. Thank you for the Saturday Club!"
